Action Earth Grants now taking Autumn/Winter 2022 applications
Thanks to funding from NatureScot, easy-to-access grants of up to £250 are now available. This year our focus is on helping restore and protect green spaces to deliver a ‘nature-rich’ future for all. These easy-to-access grants can be used by volunteers and groups to purchase plants, tools and materials to improve or enhance local green spaces and wildlife habitats across Scotland. Previous projects have included tree planting, wildflower meadow and pond creation, woodland and wetland renovations, bird/bat & bug homes and improvements to community gardens.
We are keen to support projects working with people with disabilities, defined health issues or barriers to involvement. We also prioritise projects whose work benefits disadvantaged communities – especially in urban areas. Please note that we cannot fund food growing projects or those based on school grounds this year.
Awards are made on a first-come basis and projects must complete by January 2023.
