One of our most popular events of 2022 was our Pollok Park Nature Walk, and now we’re doing it all again! We hope you can join us for this inspiring, educational, and fun event. We’ll start with a delicious High Tea, before embarking on our walk – nothing too strenuous. Then we’ll come back for more tea, cakes and a chat about what we have learned.
If you joined our Nature Walk last year you are very welcome to come along again, though please note the content will be broadly the same. Numbers are strictly limited to twenty places.
Join us from noon – food until 1pm – walk for 1 & 1/2 hours – networking teas and coffees.
This event is FREE to join for stakeholders of the Ethnic Minority Environmental Network
About the Nature Walk
We want to take you on an exciting walk through one of the historical and green treasures of Scotland – Pollok Country Park. We will discuss the history of common land in Scotland, plant-hunting expeditions that changed our flora and fauna, and much more to deepen our understanding of Scotland’s relationship with its nature.
Good to Know
This is an outdoor, all-weather walk. Please bring sturdy walking shoes and waterproof clothes in the event of rain. We will be filming the event to allow anyone unable to attend in person to access the content.
